What does visa-free travel entry mean financially?

Rwanda has joined the list of African countries to permit visa-free entry of other Africans into their soil. Other nations are Seychelles, Benin Republic and Uganda.

I am curious about the real financial implications of this on a traveler or immigrant, lets say from Nigeria to Rwanda.
