I know this amount of money might mean nothing to some big boys here
But if you knew my process, you'd celebrate my progress.
Here's a little of my story and I hope it inspires that one person today!
During my undergraduate days, I always wished to graduate and at least earn a 200k/month job.
So I settled for the thought of a 9-5 that would at least pay me 200k cause I felt it'd be okay for a comfortable living in Nigeria....oh! I wasn't thinking big.
Until I read a book that the economy would eventually alter during the process, along with my monthly salary and 90% of the time, even less.
But as a student, I chose to work an 8k/month marketing job at a soap manufacturing firm to support my bills
I thought when I got certified, I would get a 200k/month job.
Do you know what it means not getting paid by the end of the month, the same money that isn't even enough?
Having my salary deducted if I can't meet up a target was disheartening yet I stuck to it because I was lacking the right information.
Just then, I decided that instead of hunting for a 9-5 job, I'd develop myself, learn a skill and perfect it.
Fast forward to 2 years later, I signed out from the university 2 months ago with an existing Online Business where I comfortably earn 6-7 figures weekly
I'm getting paid 200k+ naira to train online entrepreneurs on sales and marketing from my experience as an Affiliate Marketer
I focused on increasing my options and being a person of value.
I learnt an Online Business Model that altered my life completely it it's called Affiliate Marketing
November this year will make 2 years in business and can say it's been amazing
However this post is not about Affiliate Marketing as much as an appeal to all job seekers out there,
If your dream job is not forthcoming, learn a skill & increase your value
I know it can be exhausting to start learning
after spending 5-6 years in the university
But the truth is that there's a lot of online skills and businesses you can learn in the space of 3 months to 1 year that can change your life forever
Most of them are not as expensive as going to school to get a degree, but they will undoubtedly pay you more.
Graduates are now entering the tech industry, digital/affiliate marketing, content development, etc.
There are many opportunities today presenting itself for any smart person to be broke, irrespective of the age
And for the most part you only need a phone/ laptop, an internet connection & a determination to succeed
